Lakes Gas in Illinois is seeking a local Delivery Driver to serve residential and commercial propane customers on a home nightly route. This full-time role requires a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a clean FMVIR, and DOT medical card.

You will handle propane deliveries and related maintenance with a safety-first customer service mindset. The position emphasizes local routes, community involvement, and equipment upkeep, with competitive wages and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain)
• Clean driving record verifiable by FMVIR
• DOT medical card and ability to pass DOT physical
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements
• Safety conscious with strong customer service orientation
• Operate and maintain handheld tablets
• Inspect vehicle and report maintenance needs
• DOT Hazmat Training and Maintenance every three years
• Maintain compliance with all DOT requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane, tanks and cylinders to residential and commercial sites
• Provide first-class customer service on every delivery
• Maintain and upkeep of company and customer equipment
• Assist with plant maintenance activities as needed
