Job summary

UpTalent in Mobile, AL is seeking a Production Technician to assemble and test complex mechanical assemblies to exacting tolerances, ensuring work packages are followed and equipment is built to specifications according to the Work Order.

You will operate carousels/tensioners, may use a forklift or overhead crane, participate in closing, extrusion, and load-out activities, and pursue certification while upholding HSSE and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Manufacturing/Assembly experience.
• Experience with mechanical production and heavy equipment or related fields.
• Knowledge of safety and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test complex mechanical assemblies to close tolerances.
• Ensure work packages are processed in order and built per specifications.
• Follow safety and quality guidelines to deliver equipment per specs.
• Participate in the umbilical production process and gain competence in production areas.
• Monitor and adjust equipment as directed by control supervisor.
• Operate carousels/tensioners and close Epic when required.
• Develop understanding of spooling route construction and accumulator construction.
• Assist with closing, extrusion, and load-out operations.
