Job summary

Straitline Transportation LLC in Des Moines, IA is seeking an energetic Class A CDL driver to lead our local Des Moines operations. This home-daily role requires loading/unloading, local deliveries to Des Moines and nearby cities, and daily start/end in Des Moines.

You will work Monday through Friday with no weekend work, averaging about 60 hours per week. Compensation includes per-load pay totaling roughly $1,750–$1,850 weekly, with comprehensive benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Good driving record.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Pneumatic experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload multiple pneumatic & hopper trailers daily.
• Complete local deliveries to Des Moines and nearby cities (Ames, Marshalltown, Newton, Storm Lake, Dennison).
• Begin and end your day in Des Moines.
• Communicate effectively between Operations and on-site customer.
• Monday–Friday; No weekends; ~60 hrs per week.
• Per load pay with gross weekly avg of $1,750–$1,850.

Job Duties Include

• Loading and Unloading Multiple Pneumatic & Hopper Trailers Daily.
• Complete local deliveries to Des Moines and surrounding cities such as: Ames, Marshalltown, Newton, Storm Lake, Dennison.
• Begin and end your day in Des Moines.
• Communicate effectively between Operations and on-site Customer.
• Monday-Friday.
• No Weekends.

• Per load pay, gross weekly avg of $1750-1850/wk.
