QXO is hiring a delivery driver to safely operate local routes, inspect loads, and maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers. The role emphasizes safety, PPE compliance, and accurate handling of materials across diverse job sites.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver’s license, be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days, and have forklift experience, with strong communication and adaptability to weather and workplace variations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Direct customer interaction experience.
• Effective communication with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• Adaptability to diverse environments and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an F550 or box truck for local deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload materials at job sites.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher and customers.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and wear PPE.
• Inspect materials for condition and quantity before storing.
• Manage pick tickets with loading verification.
• Notify Purchasing, Sales, and Lead Warehouse Associate of unfilled orders or low inventory.
