Job summary

QXO is seeking a reliable delivery driver to load, transport, and unload building products in a fast-paced environment. You will operate under DOT safety guidelines and maintain careful load verification while communicating with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

This role requires a valid CDL, 12+ months of driving experience, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Team collaboration and safety focus are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre‑inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
