Airgas, Inc. is hiring a Local Microbulk Driver (CDL A or B) in Anchorage, AK. You will handle daily scheduled deliveries of bulk gases, including liquid CO2, while maintaining safety and customer relations on local and remote routes.

The role requires a CDL with HazMat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements, plus the ability to drive a manual transmission and operate in a drug-free environment. Benefits include comprehensive medical, vision, dental and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements.
• Mechanical aptitude to fix truck components (air lines, tires, etc).
• Able to drive a manual transmission.
• Maintain Alaska driver's license and medical card with endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or one conviction + one at-fault accident in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily scheduled bulk liquid CO2 and other gases in Anchorage area and remote Alaska routes.
• Maintain courteous, professional relationships with customers and provide high-quality service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Ensure safe handling and transfer of gases to customers’ vessels on-site.
• Communicate promptly with distribution manager about changes or issues on route.
