Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) for Fairbanks, AK. Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift. Pay range $27.50–$35.25 based on experience.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, and more, with 14-week childbirth support and 401(k) with company match. Must maintain safe driving record and DOT compliance. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, timely deliveries, accurate records, and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat & Airbrake endorsements.
• 1 year of Class A or B CDL driving experience in last 5 years or certification from trucking school in last 12 months.
• Maintain valid driver's license, medical card & endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or one at-fault and one conviction in last 3 years; DUI in last 7 years.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload service trucks and perform timely deliveries to meet customer satisfaction.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Maintain accurate company and DOT records and assist with warehouse pull orders and customer payments.
• Provide inventory and delivery support to internal and external customers; may require overtime, weekends, and holidays.
