Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Stow, OH is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Driver to support local healthcare routes. You will collect medical waste and sharps containers, drive up to 26' box trucks, and deliver safe, friendly service to hospitals and clinics along your route.

This full-time, day-shift role offers 4 × 10-hour days (5 AM–3 PM), potential overtime, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and benefits from day one. CDL endorsement boosts pay to $27–28 per hour; otherwise the base rate is $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license or clean driving record with DOT medical card.
• Professional experience operating 26' box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Ability to complete Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic and reliable tenure with past employers.
• Customer-focused mindset with flexible, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.
• Operate company vehicles up to 26' box trucks.
• Manage local routes and deliver timely, reliable service.
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain DOT logs.
• Load and unload containers; heavy lifting may be required.
