Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Technician to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for the delivery and setup of equipment at the delivery address. You will educate the patient and/or caregiver on the safe use and maintenance of the delivered item.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures, including the use of protective equipment.
• Assist in resolving customer equipment problems under emergency conditions.
• Implement quality improvement programs to meet company and JCAHO standards.
• Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisors.
• Complete shipping documents for hazardous materials in accordance with company policy.
• Document patient visits and setup activities.
• Deliver and educate patients on the safe use of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of current products and regulations.
• Manage territory to meet service goals, ensuring timely delivery and setup.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Report hazards or incidents as required.

Travel

Travel via company vehicle to patients' homes for setups and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with medical equipment preferred.
• One year of related work experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry equipment (minimum 65 pounds), and perform physical activities related to delivery and setup.
