Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary: We seek a dedicated Patient Service Technician responsible for delivering and setting up equipment at patient locations, and educating patients/caregivers on safe use and maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safety policies, assist with emergency equipment issues, and participate in quality improvement programs.
  • Maintain vehicle safety, complete shipping and delivery documentation, and transport hazardous materials per policy.
  • Deliver equipment, educate patients on its use, and develop product and regulatory knowledge.
  • Maintain a clean, safe vehicle, manage delivery records, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage territory to meet service goals, and handle all related paperwork accurately.
  • Report hazards or incidents, work cooperatively with others, and perform other duties as assigned.
Travel:

Travel via company vehicle to patient homes for setup and deliveries.

Qualifications:
  • Background check, drug screening, valid driver’s license with clean record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: experience with medical equipment, one year related work, knowledge of medical terminology.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Mathematical skills, effective communication, confidentiality, multi-tasking, organization, problem-solving, independence, teamwork.
Technical Abilities:
  • Email, internet, Microsoft Office, office equipment, mechanical troubleshooting, equipment handling, vehicle operation.
Physical Demands:
  • Lift up to 65 pounds, standing, walking, driving, exposure to pathogens, close vision requirements.
