Job summary
MLB Network in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Specialist for its Content Distribution team. This role involves managing the distribution and monetization of MLB’s rights, including overseeing launch authorizations and establishing relationships with distribution partners.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in sports media operations and be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. A strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. The position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in MVPD partnerships and marketing, sports media, or media operations.
- Ability to work effectively with Production, Engineering, and Broadcasting departments.
- Demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and superior people skills required in a live sports media environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize launch authorizations for MLB local club distribution.
- Project manage processes for feed distribution and blackout implementation.
- Manage technical distribution of MLB Network and NHL Network VOD products.
