Frontier Communications is seeking a Local Manager to lead a field technician workforce responsible for installing and maintaining residential and business services. The role requires coordinating safety, training, and performance while interfacing with HR and marketing to respond to market conditions.
The Local Manager will drive equipment installation, service activation, and adherence to budgets, while representing Frontier in the community and ensuring high employee and customer satisfaction.
Verizon recently acquired Frontier and plans to transition non-union Frontier employees into Verizon compensation and benefits programs. This position will be part of that planned transition.
Frontier's Local Managers will focus on operational proficiency, employee, customer, and community relations. By driving performance and delivering results through customer contact and community involvement, the Local Manager will impact Frontier's ability to exceed our market growth targets and deliver 100% employee and customer satisfaction.
This position will provide leadership to a workforce of field technicians that install and maintain both residential and business lines, OSP cable facilities, multi-line CPE equipment, hi-cap access services, broadband services, central office/transmission equipment and digital loop carrier equipment.
