Job summary

C.R. England is seeking a Local Intermodal Truck Driver for the PM shift in Kansas City, MO. You'll run from the yard at 4100 Kentucky Ave with a mix of live load and drop-and-hook freight, mostly local within 150−200 miles of the rail ramp, and you’ll be home several times per week.

The role features 10–12 hour days, five days a week, with an optional sixth day for extra pay. Trucks are newer with automatics, and you’ll be part of a trucker-led company that has moved freight safely since 1920.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.
• Reliable transportation to commute to and from work.

Responsibilities

• 10-12 hours per day, 5 days a week.
• Optional 6th day available for extra pay.
• Every dispatch begins and ends at the intermodal yard.
• Local and longer dispatches up to 150-200 miles from the rail ramp.
• Mix of live load and drop and hook freight.
• Occasional overnight stays
