Job summary

Safeload Trucking is seeking a Local Intermodal CDL-A Driver based in Bethlehem, PA to move freight on a home-daily basis. You will run live-load and drop-and-hook intermodal moves within a ~175-mile radius with occasional trips up to 350 miles.

Typical shifts run 10–12 hours on 2nd or 3rd shift, start times between midnight and 4:00 a.m., with five scheduled days per week and an optional sixth day for extra pay. You need a valid CDL-A and at least 3 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 months of driving experience.
• Able to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.
• 10–12 hour shifts, 5 days per week.
• Willingness to work an optional sixth day.

Responsibilities

• Complete multiple dispatches per shift on local intermodal routes.
• Handle a mix of live-load and drop-and-hook freight.
• Maintain 10–12 hour shifts on 2nd/3rd shift.
• Home daily with two consecutive days off.
