Job summary

Safeload Trucking is seeking a Local Intermodal CDL-A Driver based in Bethlehem, PA to move freight on a home-daily basis. You will run live-load and drop-and-hook intermodal moves within a ~175-mile radius with occasional trips up to 350 miles.

Typical shifts run 10–12 hours on 2nd or 3rd shift, start times between midnight and 4:00 a.m., with five scheduled days per week and an optional sixth day for extra pay. You need a valid CDL-A and at least 3 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 3 months of driving experience.

We are hiring a Local Intermodal CDL-A Driver based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Drivers complete multiple dispatches each shift, handling a mix of live-load and drop-and-hook freight.

Typical dispatches average approximately 50 miles, with some trips up to 350 miles round trip. Drivers work approximately 10–12 hours per day on a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule, with early start times between midnight and 4:00 a.m.

This position offers home-daily time with two consecutive days off. Drivers work five scheduled days per week and may work an optional sixth day for extra pay.

Compensation

• Average weekly pay of $1,450 - $2,000
• Local intermodal routes from Bethlehem, PA
• Delivery radius within 175 miles of Bethlehem
