Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul intermodal freight on local Bethlehem routes. The position offers home daily, a consistent 5-day schedule, and 10–12 hour shifts with start times between midnight and 4 a.m.

Eligible drivers enjoy hourly pay and an optional sixth day for additional earnings, with routes generally within 50 miles of the rail ramp and occasional overnight stays due to delays.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Reliable transportation to and from the yard.

Responsibilities

• Haul local intermodal freight from Bethlehem, PA.
• Operate day-cab tractors in slip-seat fashion.
• Home daily with a 5-day workweek and 10–12 hour shifts.
• Start times between 12:00 AM and 4:00 AM and days off Sundays/Mondays.
• Optional sixth day for extra pay.
