Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking CDL drivers for local deliveries in the Chicago area. You will complete safe, on-time deliveries and be home each night.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL with HazMat, MVR/PSP records within policy, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and strong customer service skills. Benefits are comprehensive and include paid time off and holidays, life insurance, and tuition programs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement.
• MVR and PSP clear in past 3 years with no more than 2 violations or at-fault accidents.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with PCs and material handling equipment.
• Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries using the most effective route to ensure on-time arrival.
• Load and unload the vehicle; secure all products and separate hazardous materials as required.
• Collect payments and document deliveries accurately.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSR and other regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; notify supervisor of needed maintenance.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable daily.
• Increase knowledge of products and procedures through ongoing training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
