The role focuses on assessing operations from staffing to budgets and technology, translating findings into practical, prioritized recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading improvements from within a government organization.
• Experience in municipal or county operations, budgeting, and organizational management is preferred.
• Strong interviewing, facilitation, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate departmental operations, staffing, budgets, workflows, and service delivery.
• Interview department heads, staff, and executives to identify challenges and opportunities.
• Develop practical recommendations with clear priorities and implementation steps.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, technology, and other functional areas.
• Present findings to government executives and elected officials, with evidence-based conclusions.
