Job summary

MJ Tank Lines, a family-owned bulk petroleum transporter in Southern California, is seeking professional CDL Class A Hazmat Fuel Tanker Drivers. You will deliver petroleum products safely and efficiently, with modern equipment and a focus on Integrity Delivered.

You will operate in Southern California, perform pre/post-trip inspections, log accurate data, and comply with all safety and labor regulations. This role offers home daily, strong hourly pay with overtime, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CDL Class A with Tanker and HazMat (X) endorsements.
• Minimum 36 months verifiable CDL experience.
• GVW >26,000 lb experience required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, background check, and drug/alcohol test.
• Current medical certificate with no restrictions.
• Must pass company road test.
• Must obtain and maintain loading privileges at SoCal terminals.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lb.
• Must follow California labor laws (meal/rest breaks).
• TWIC preferred but not required.
• Experience in petroleum transportation highly preferred.

We are a family-owned bulk petroleum transportation company located in Southern California, seeking highly professional CDL (Class A) Hazmat Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our growing fleet. Our drivers are responsible for delivering various petroleum products to our customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Responsibilities

• Load and make deliveries in accordance with company and legal guidelines, including proper use of safety equipment and following established procedures


• Perform required pre and post-trip inspections


• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs


• Utilize onboard electronics, including ELDs


• Navigate Southern California geography and freeway systems


• Route around traffic and hazards utilizing maps and/or GPS


• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and other related equipment as necessary


• Promote company Core Values and Integrity


• Work additional varying hours, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A driver's license in the state of residence with Tanker and Hazardous Materials (X) endorsements


• Minimum of 36 months recent and verifiable commercial vehicle experience


• Experience driving trucks totaling gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds


• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, background screening, and drug/alcohol test


• Current medical certificate, with no restrictions or limitations


• Must be able to pass our road test with a vehicle chosen by the company


• Must be able to acquire and maintain loading privileges at all Southern California terminals


• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds


• Adherence to California labor laws (meal and rest breaks)


• TWIC (Transportation Worker's Identification Credential) preferred but not required


• Experience in petroleum transportation highly preferred

Compensation

$29.00- $41.00 per hour (depending on years of service and additional premiums for weekend work.)
