MJ Tank Lines is a family-owned bulk petroleum transportation company in Southern California seeking professional CDL (Class A) HazMat Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our growing fleet. Drive, deliver, and maintain logs safely while adhering to state and company guidelines.

We offer best-in-class equipment, modern tech, and a strong core values focus. Responsibilities include load deliveries, pre/post-trip inspections, and navigating Southern California routes with ELDs and GPS.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Minimum 36 months verifiable CDL experience.
• GVW over 26,000 pounds experience.
• Able to pass physical, background checks and drug/alcohol tests.
• Current medical certificate with no restrictions.
• Must pass company road test.
• Able to acquire/maintain loading privileges at Southern California terminals.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Adherence to California labor laws (meal/rest breaks).
• TWIC preferred but not required; experience in petroleum transport preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are a family-owned bulk petroleum transportation company located in Southern California, seeking highly professional CDL (Class A) Hazmat Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our growing fleet. Our drivers are responsible for delivering various petroleum products to our customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. We provide best-in-class trucks and equipment and are looking for motivated professionals to help us grow. Responsibilities

• Load and make deliveries in accordance with company and legal guidelines, including proper use of safety equipment and following established procedures.
• Perform required pre and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Utilize onboard electronics, including ELDs.
• Navigate Southern California geography and freeway systems.
• Route around traffic and hazards utilizing maps and/or GPS.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and other related equipment as necessary.
• Promote company Core Values and Integrity.
• Work additional varying hours, which may include weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Class A driver's license in the state of residence with Tanker and Hazardous Materials (X) endorsements.
• Minimum of 36months recent and verifiable commercial vehicle experience.
• Experience driving trucks totaling gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds.
• Must be able to pass pre- employment physical, background screening, and drug/alcohol test.
• Current medical certificate, with no restrictions or limitations.
• Must be able to pass our road test with a vehicle chosen by the company.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain loading privileges at all Southern California terminals.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Adherence to California labor laws (meal and rest breaks).
• TWIC (Transportation Worker's Identification Credential) preferred but not required.
• Experience in petroleum transportation highly preferred.

Compensation

$29.00- $41.00 per hour (depending on years of service and additional premiums for weekend work.)
