Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Driver to deliver refined fuels and propane within a local territory, loading at terminals and performing equipment maintenance. The role requires CDL consideration, DOT safety compliance, and the ability to obtain necessary endorsements within 90 days.

On-call duties and detailed record-keeping are included. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid license, and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with CDL preferable; tanker/HAZMAT and air brake endorsements encouraged.
• Ability to obtain Class A/B CDL with endorsements within 90 days.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, MVR, background check, and road test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel products and propane locally on assigned routes.
• Load products at terminals and maintain terminal access credentials.
• Operate commercial vehicles in DOT-compliant safety manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report concerns.
• Install and maintain propane/fuel systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and service equipment; provide after-hours support.
• Maintain inventory and records of parts and assets.
• Keep documentation up-to-date (service notes, invoices, lease docs).
• Participate in on-call schedule and emergency response.
• Move and handle equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Safely operate in varying weather and road conditions.
