Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Driver to deliver refined fuels and propane to established customers on assigned routes, while safely operating and maintaining the truck. The role includes service work such as tank set, tank painting, and plant maintenance as assigned, with emphasis on safety, customer service, and compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid DL, and willingness to obtain CDL with tanker/HAZMAT endorsements, plus pre-employment testing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability and willingness to become propane (CETP) certified as determined by the state(s) served.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days of employment, and maintain all DOT requirements.
• Ability to pass in-person training and MFA Oil Company Road test requiring operation of both manual and automatic transmission vehicles within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles in various weather/road conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and climb ladders, work outdoors, and move equipment as needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel products and propane to customers on assigned routes.
• Operate and maintain the truck and perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely deliver to customer facilities and connect/disconnect hoses.
• Record deliveries using handheld systems and maintain safety practices.
• Identify and communicate safety, efficiency, or customer issues to management.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain required certifications.
• Support service work as directed (tank set/paint, plant maintenance).
• Be a positive representative of MFA Oil Company in the community.
