Job summary

MFA Oil Company seeks a Fuel & Propane Driver to deliver refined fuel and propane to established customers on assigned routes while maintaining a safe vehicle and performing routine service work.

The role requires a high school diploma, CDL eligibility, ability to pass MFA Oil training, and willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends. MFA Oil offers comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability and willingness to obtain CDL (Class A or B) with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to pass MFA Oil road test for manual and automatic transmissions within 90 days.
• Ability to work rotating on-call, holidays, weekends, and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel products and propane along defined routes daily.
• Maintain proper terminal access to load products.
• Safely operate vehicle according to policies and laws.
• Use handheld systems to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Connect hoses for delivery and stow them after.
• Identify issues and communicate safety/efficiency feedback.
• Inspect customer installations for safe, dependable operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Present a positive image of MFA Oil Company to the community.
• Maintain truck in neat and clean condition.
• Perform service work (tank set, tank painting, plant maintenance) as directed.
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
