Job summary

MFA Oil Company is hiring a Fuel & Propane Driver to deliver refined fuels and propane to local customers on assigned routes. You will operate and maintain the truck safely, perform service work as assigned, and keep up with regulatory and company requirements.

A valid CDL and potential hazmat certification are required, with pre-employment screenings and DOT compliance baked in. You will represent MFA Oil in the community and coordinate with management on safety, efficiency and customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ,
• Propane/CETP certification within states served.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.
• Pre-employment drug screen, MVR, background check and road test.
• Ability to work rotating on-call schedule, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel products and propane to customers on defined local routes.
• Maintain terminal access to load fuels as applicable.
• Safely operate vehicle per MFA Oil policies and laws.
• Use handheld devices to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Connect/disconnect fuel hoses at customer sites and secure for transport.
• Identify safety, efficiency or customer-service issues and report to management.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Represent MFA Oil professionally to customers and communities.
• Understand and communicate company policies and procedures to customers.
• Maintain required certifications and comply with DOT requirements.
