Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B required with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience; waste/front-load exposure a plus.
• Ability to operate joystick controls and hydraulic lifting mechanisms.
• Commitment to safety guidelines, vehicle upkeep, and road regulations.
• Must be physically able to step in/out of cab and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loading trucks and hydraulic systems to lift and empty containers in the Durham area.
• Navigate local commercial sites and business parks with care and efficiency.
• Represent GFL professionally as the face of the company to commercial partners.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections for safety and truck performance.
• Communicate with dispatchers and operations to resolve route challenges.
