Job summary

Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery seeks a delivery/warehouse associate focused on accurate check-ins and quality control of local products. You will verify orders, coordinate with vendors and buyers, and communicate timing and quality issues across departments.

Role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting a community-focused food hub and cafe environment in Greenville.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a driving record check.
• Must obtain a DOT Medical Card paid by employer.
• Safety footwear that meets ASTM F2413-18 standard required.
• Experience driving box trucks and vans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows delivery protocol to check in products and confirms quantities against orders.
• Report any product issues to vendors and coordinate with buyers.
• Communicate delivery timing and quality issues to departments and producers.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and ready for the next shift; perform cleaning duties.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment.
