Job summary

Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery is looking for a Sandwich Production Manager to lead our Line Cook and Prep Cook teams in a fast-paced, locally sourced cafe. You’ll drive production standards, train staff, and help roll out new menu items to delight guests.

The role emphasizes waste reduction, teamwork, and maintaining exceptional guest service while ensuring profitability and strong employee morale in a vibrant community cafe.

Qualifications

• Manages team of Line Cooks within our high volume Cafe department.
• Creates and maintains production/wait times for made-to-order foods; utilizes reports to track and improve wait times.
• Owns waste reduction by limiting production mistakes.
• Responsible for the effective training of all new hires; conducts trainings to ensure consistency and understanding of all job functions.
• Works to continuously train and develop Assistant Managers in support of their career goals.
• Collaborates with Kitchen General Manager to roll out new menu items and processes.
