Southeastern Freight Lines in Jackson, TN is seeking a Final Mile Driver to pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally in a non CDL-A vehicle. You will load and unload, inspect the vehicle, and ensure paperwork and shipping documents accompany each shipment.

The role requires 21+, HS diploma or GED, clean background, valid driver's license with acceptable MVR, and at least 6 months of driving experience; you will enter Southeastern’s Driver Trainee Program after one year in the Final Mile

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass background check and alcohol/drug test.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable MVR.

Responsabilidades

• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally in a non CDL-A vehicle.
• Load and unload shipments, with or without mechanical equipment.
• Inspect vehicle for defects before, during, and after trips and submit a Vehicle Condition Report.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available and accompanies shipments.
• Complete paperwork related to vehicle operations and freight movements.
