Southeastern Freight Lines seeks a Final Mile Driver to pick up, transport and deliver freight locally in Alabama using a non-CDL A vehicle. You will load/unload, inspect the vehicle, and ensure paperwork is complete and compliant.

Requirements include being at least 21, holding a HS diploma or GED, passing background checks, a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and at least 6 months of driving experience. You may enter the Driver Trainee Program after one year in the role.

Competenze

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to pass background, alcohol and drug tests.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean MVR.
• At least 6 months of driving experience (personal vehicle acceptable).
• Willing to enter Driver Trainee Program after one year in Final Mile Driver role.

Mansioni

• Transport freight locally, non CDL-A vehicle, pick up and deliver as needed.
• Load and unload shipments, with or without mechanical handling equipment.
• Inspect vehicle for defects and maintain Vehicle Condition Report.
• Ensure all shipping papers and paperwork are complete and accompany shipments.
