Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a Final Mile Driver to pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally using a non-CDL-A vehicle. You will load/unload shipments, inspect the vehicle, and ensure proper paperwork accompanies each delivery.

Role requires 21+ years old, a HS diploma or GED, reliable background check and drug/alcohol test, and at least 6 months of driving experience. Pay ranges per hour and location vary.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to pass background check and drug/alcohol test.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Minimum 6 months of driving experience.
• Willing to enter Southern's Driver Trainee Program after one year.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally (non-CDL-A vehicle).
• Load and unload shipments with or without equipment.
• Inspect vehicle condition before, during, and after trips.
• Submit Vehicle Condition Report after each trip.
• Review shipping papers to ensure no hazardous materials are present.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to vehicle operations and freight movements.
