Job summary

Civitech invites an independent consultant to support election-related inquiries for local ballot cure procedures and election administration questions, drawing on existing relationships and knowledge.

This nonexclusive engagement runs Oct 19, 2026 through mid-November, about 10–20 hours per week, paid at $40–$45 per hour. Consultants manage their own schedule, expenses reimbursed, no benefits.

Qualifications

• An established independent consulting practice or professional service offering relevant to political affairs, community relationships, election administration, or voter protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide local context on ballot cure procedures, relevant contacts, or a specific election administration question, drawing on existing knowledge and appropriately sourced information.
• Facilitate introductions to relevant state or local party contacts, campaign staff, voter protection partners, or election administrators through existing professional relationships.
• Help obtain clarification of a specific local process or issue through lawful, appropriate channels and identifying the people or resources best positioned to address it.
• Provide a concise summary of findings, sources, unresolved questions, and recommended next steps for an agreed assignment.
