Civitech seeks experienced independent consultants with established local political relationships to support BallotCure. Engagements vary by location and may involve only a few hours, with no guaranteed minimum volume.

The role is nonexclusive and consultants determine their own schedule within agreed deadlines, with Civitech’s Senior Program Director as contact. Locations include multiple states; this is a 1099 independent contractor engagement for the 2026 election cycle, typically 10–20 hours

Qualifications

• Established independent consulting practice relevant to political affairs.
• Existing professional relationships and knowledge of the state/local communities to support.
• Experience with progressive campaigns, state/local parties, voter protection or election administration.
• Ability to independently assess local questions, identify sources, and communicate findings.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism handling sensitive information with officials.

Responsabilités

• Provide local context on ballot cure procedures and relevant contacts.
• Facilitate introductions to state/local party contacts, campaign staff, and election officials.
• Clarify local processes through lawful channels and identify responsible resources.
• Deliver concise summaries of findings, sources, unresolved questions, and next steps.
