Job Overview

Ready to take the wheel and steer your career in the right direction? Marvin is looking for a Local/Yard Driver to join our team! In this role, you’ll transport trailers on our facility properties and complete local pick-ups and deliveries. You’ll also help loading dock associates with loading and unloading trucks.

Highlights of Your Role

• Relocate, transport, and stage for loading and unloading to meet required receiving, production and shipping goals.
• Partner with receiving and shipping teams to maintain detailed yard checks.
• Transport product locally between plants, local vendors, and local customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Complete Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports on tractor and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness.
• Maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations, and ensure proper documentation of department data.

Enjoy a comfortable schedule:

• Monday-Thursday; 5:30 am - 3:30 pm; occasional overtime as needed: Pay $26 per hour
• Monday-Thursday; 7:00 am - 5:00 pm; occasional overtime as needed: Pay $26 per hour

You're a Good Fit If You Have (or Can Develop)

• Valid Class A driver’s license (CDL) and minimum one-year CDL driving experience required.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Also Want to Make Sure You Have

• Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.
• Ability to acquire and retain forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for this role.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well both with a team and independently in a fast-paced position.
