Job summary

Marvin in Windsor, CT is seeking a DC Loader to join our logistics team. You will load and unload trucks, scan items, and record data while maintaining safety and efficiency on a fast-paced facility.

This role offers a stable schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am–4:00 pm, with overtime as needed. A valid CDL and DOT compliance are required, along with the ability to lift up to 85 lbs and operate forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks by hand ensuring proper scan and accurate paperwork.

• Coordinate with receiving and shipping for yard checks.
• Perform daily Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain compliance with DOT and Marvin regulations.

Job Overview

Looking to lift your career? Marvin is looking for a DC Loader to join our team! You'll play a crucial role loading and unloading trucks. You’ll also occasionally help transport trailers on our facility property as needed.

Highlights of your role

• Load trucks by hand in an organized and safe manner, ensuring all products are scanned properly to the truck, department data is accurately recorded, and paperwork is completed thoroughly.
• Relocate, transport, and stage for loading and unloading to meet required receiving, production and shipping goals.
• Partner with receiving and shipping teams to maintain detailed yard checks.
• Complete Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports on tractor and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness.
• Maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations.

Enjoy a comfortable schedule

• Monday - Thursday; 6:00 am - 4:00 pm; Pay: $25 per hour; Overtime required as needed.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Valid Class-A driver's license (CDL). Minimum 1-year CDL driving experience.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Also want to make sure you have

• Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.
• Ability to acquire and retain forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for this role.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well both with a team and independently in a fast-paced position.
