Job summary

HireCall is seeking a dependable Local Driver / Equipment Specialist in the Tulsa area to perform local deliveries and operate specialized equipment. You will inspect and maintain trucks and containers, assist customers, and follow safety procedures.

The role offers a steady Monday–Friday schedule, an hourly pay of $17.00, and a hands-on work environment where you can develop mechanical and equipment- operation skills while working locally with no overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Valid Oklahoma driver's license.
• Clean driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn to operate specialized equipment.
• Ability to perform hands-on maintenance and outdoor work.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious work habits.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be at least 18 years old for local Oklahoma deliveries.
• Ability to work the scheduled Monday–Friday shift and meet the physical demands of the position.
• A CDL is not required for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,000 pounds or less. Additional licensing requirements may apply depending on the vehicle and operation.

Responsibilities

• Make local deliveries and pickups of portable storage containers using specialized delivery equipment.
• Learn to operate remote‑controlled delivery systems and specialized container‑handling machinery.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections, including checking fluids, tires, hydraulics, electrical components, and hardware.
• Clean, power wash, and maintain trucks, equipment, and storage containers.
• Sand, buff, and touch up paint on steel containers.
• Repair or replace container hardware, door components, weather stripping, handles, and other parts as needed.
• Maintain the storage yard and property, including organizing work areas, spraying weeds, and assisting with gate and fence repairs.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain accurate inspection and delivery records.
