Job summary

ThinkingAhead is seeking a Heavy Civil Project Manager to oversee local DOT highway and infrastructure projects in the Moline/Quad Cities area. This role will manage projects from award through closeout with direct collaboration with the General Superintendent and ownership, focusing on achieving safety, quality and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in heavy civil, highway or infrastructure contracting.
• Direct experience managing DOT projects or large heavy civil work.
• Ability to read civil plans, specifications and contract documents.
• Strong scheduling, cost control and change management skills.
• Ability to lead project teams and communicate with field personnel, owners, inspectors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local DOT highway and infrastructure projects in Moline/Quad Cities.
• Manage projects from award through closeout with direct access to leadership.
• Coordinate with General Superintendent and ownership on project goals and performance.
• Ensure projects stay within scope, schedule and budget with effective field production.
