Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply is seeking a DOT-certified Delivery Driver to transport materials on local routes with box and flatbed trucks. You will load/unload, maintain safety standards, and communicate status with dispatch and the warehouse team.

Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years driving, and a clean MVR. The role includes second-shift flexibility and growth opportunities within a long‑standing company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain DOT and safety standards in daily work.
• Familiarity with area routes is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and operate box/flatbed trucks.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials on local routes using box and flatbed trucks, with manual or automatic transmissions.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently at each stop.
• Maintain DOT certification and vehicle documentation; comply with safety policies.
• Communicate route status and issues with dispatch and warehouse leadership.
• Assist warehouse team and support second‑shift operations when needed.
