Job summary

ABB is seeking a seasoned Regional Controller - Americas to drive financial leadership for the US Electrification Services business. This remote role reports to the regional controller and demands strategic planning, robust controllership, and cross-functional collaboration across finance and operations.

You will own forecasts, KPIs, month-end closes, and project accounting, while partnering with leadership to optimize performance and risk management across the US region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a financial position.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar.
• Experience with ERP (SAP).

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leadership to develop and execute the U.S. Electrification Services strategy, translating goals into business plans, forecasts, and measurable performance targets.
• Provide financial leadership and business insights by monitoring performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and advising management on operational and commercial decision-making.
• Ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant financial reporting through strong controllership, internal controls, financial processes, and timely month-end closing activities.
• Oversee project financial operations, including job costing, work-in-process inventory, billing and revenue recognition, accounts receivable collections, and accounting process consistency across the business.

The work model for the role is: remote (#Li-Remote) and can be anywhere in the U.S.

Your role and responsibilities:

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $163,500 and $261,600 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
