Responsibilities

• Check Pricing and issue Pull Points to drivers each time they are sent to load.
• Monitor drivers and their time frames; communicate delays to customer and rep.
• Monitor drivers and trucks via Samsara for efficiency.
• Route and dispatch drivers logistically according to gallons and requested delivery times.
• Monitor and email pricing updates hourly.
• Review, calculate and email daily pricing.
• Enter order details from printed Purchase Orders into dispatch software for each load.
• Prioritize and dispatch drivers on next-day loads based on urgency and logistics requirements.
• Maintain constant communication of ETAs, delays, and information to sales and customers.

Local Dispatcher: (Slip Seat - 5 on, 2 off / 5 on, 3 off)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Check Pricing and issue Pull Points to drivers each time they are sent to load
• Monitor drivers and their time frames. Communicate delays to customer and rep.
• Monitor drivers and trucks via Samsara for efficiency
• Route and dispatch drivers logistically and according to gallon amount and requested time frames
• Monitor and email pricing updates hourly
• Review, calculate and email daily pricing
• Transfer and save all BOL’s loaded on your shift
• Update Open Orders Report with delivered or canceled loads
• Print, Respond, Receive Purchase Orders via email and dispatch or file accordingly
• Manage high volume of emails and respond in a timely manner
• Contact suppliers with any allocation issues and request supply. Communicate outcome
• Submitting orders to Order Entry when the sales team or customer needs support.
• Monitor and calculate gallons on satellite monitor websites. Issue 90% fill amount to drivers.
• Prioritize a high volume of orders according to urgency and importance.
• Constant communication of ETA’s, delays and information to sales team and customer.
• Monitor road conditions and keep drivers informed.
• Enter order details from printed Purchase Order into dispatch software for each load.
• Prioritize, route and dispatch drivers on next day loads via dispatch software according to logistics, gallon amount, product requested, driver start times and requested delivery time frames.
• Extensive problem solving skills required.
• Meticulous attention to detail is required.
• Effective and constant communication is required.
• Check Credit List and Key Orders accordingly.
• Update Repeat Spreadsheet when information changes on scheduled loads.
