Job summary

Motion Industries in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Warehouse Driver to operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment, and to provide branch warehouse support as needed.

You will plan efficient routes, verify packing slips, document delivery details, and assist with routine inventory tasks. A valid driver’s license and DOT-physical may be required; road tests are conducted on hire. Medical card and certifications may be required for certain customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is typically required.
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips and delivery instructions.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills for delivery documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment.
• Sorts assignments and plans the most efficient route.
• Maintains Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.
• Unloads products and obtains customer signature for proof of delivery.
• Prepares items for delivery and secures packages for transit.
• May assist with restocking of products on shelves.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
