Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a full-time Warehouse Driver in Amarillo, TX to operate company vehicles, pick up and deliver local orders and equipment, and provide branch warehouse support as needed.

You will plan efficient routes, load and unload items, secure packages, and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery. A valid driver’s license and DOT considerations apply; on-site safety training is provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Reads packing slips and delivery instructions accurately.
• Documents information gathered from customers during delivery.
• Utilizes basic math and computer skills in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicle to pick up and deliver local orders and equipment.
• Sorts assignments and plans the most efficient route.
• Maintains Vendor Managed Inventory at customer locations.
• Organizes products for delivery and loads the vehicle.
• Obtains customer signature on packing slip as delivery proof.
• Determines items to pick, check, and ship from sales orders.
• Prepares items for delivery to customers.
• Secures packages to prevent damage in transit.
• May assist with restocking of products on shelves.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
