Job summary

NEFCO Construction Supply LLC is seeking a non-CDL Driver capable of local deliveries to commercial construction sites and home offices. The role requires driving 24’ and 26’ vehicles, safe driving, and high-quality customer service. Wage and benefits align with local market standards.

You will perform pre-trip checks, load and unload inventory, and maintain accurate records. The position emphasizes reliability, safety, and strong communication with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years or older.
• Experience driving 24’ and 26’ commercial vehicles.
• 2–5 years driving experience with commercial vehicles.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a current, valid Medical Card.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent knowledge of the local delivery area.
• Ability to sit in vehicle for long periods.
• Able to work in varying climate conditions.
• Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip inspections of vehicle, equipment, paperwork, and loaded product.
• Makes deliveries to customer job sites and home offices with a company vehicle.
• Loads inventory on truck and unloads at site while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Maintains a neat, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicates from the field with the dispatcher and branch logistics.
