Job summary

NEFCO Construction Supply LLC, Edge division, seeks a non-CDL Delivery Driver to perform local deliveries to commercial sites and home offices. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, loading and unloading, and maintaining inventory accuracy with strong customer service.

The role requires 2 years of driving experience, a valid DOT medical card, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Workdays are Monday to Friday with potential for a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have 2 years of prior driving experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a current, valid Medical DOT Card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent knowledge of the local delivery area.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip inspections of vehicle, equipment, paperwork, and loaded product.
• Make deliveries to customer job sites/home offices with a company vehicle.
• Load inventory on truck and unload at customer site while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure manifests are complete and accurate.
• Provide timely, accurate and courteous customer service.
• Communicate with dispatcher and branch logistics from the field.
• Prepare and maintain records per company policies.
