Job summary

Goodman Manufacturing in Morgan Hill, CA is seeking a Local Driver responsible for the safe operation of company trucks for timely delivery of products to customer and company locations. The driver will load, unload and transfer products as needed using forklifts within the branch, trucks, and sites.

You will maintain logs for DOT compliance, perform pre/post checks, assist in warehouse and front counter duties, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Forklift operation experience and ability to transfer products.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook and Excel) for reporting.
• Minimum 3+ years of verifiable commercial driving within 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and deliver products to customer sites within designated time frames using efficient routes.
• Maintain logs and reports to comply with DOT policies and company safety standards.
• Safely load and secure cargo.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently to transfer products.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and forklift inspections.
• Assist in warehouse duties and front counter responsibilities as needed.
