Job summary

Batesville is seeking a professional Commercial Driver to safely operate CMVs from straight trucks to tractor trailers in the Hayward area. You will deliver and unload caskets, build customer relationships, and meet CSC demands with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of driving experience, a valid license, a current DOT medical, and the ability to pass a road test. This role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Must pass a vehicle road test.
• DOT physical current on file.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Commercial Motor Vehicles ranging from straight truck to tractor trailer.
• Deliver and unload caskets in a safe manner.
• Develop and nurture customer relationships.
• Effectively meet CSC and customer demands.
• Responsible for local operational performance: DOT regulations, health and safety, vehicle inspection and maintenance, work standards, policies, and customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and related tech, recording hours of service and data entry.
• Participation in safety training or orientation as required.
