Job summary

Batesville is seeking a safety‑minded CDL driver to operate commercial motor vehicles ranging from straight trucks to tractor trailers, delivering and unloading caskets with care and professionalism. You will build strong customer relationships and uphold DOT and company safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a clean MVR, 3+ years of driving, a valid license, and the ability to meet a road test. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K shortly after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR.
• DOT physical and ability to meet regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Commercial Motor Vehicles from straight truck to tractor trailer.
• Deliver and unload caskets in a safe manner.
• Develop and nurture customer relationships.
• Meet CSC and customer demands and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain local operational performance per DOT rules and company policies.
• Operate electronic logging devices and record hours of service accurately.
