Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a delivery driver to make customer deliveries using a company-provided or rental vehicle. You will maintain delivery records, inspect vehicles, and provide customer service on order issues. A valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR are required as the company will monitor driving records.

The role involves loading/unloading orders, following routes, and communicating delivery updates to customers while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering orders to customers by box truck or similar vehicle.
• 1+ years operating material handling equipment.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred; 2-5 years experience in distribution is common.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders safely within a service area and interface with customers on order issues.
• Load and unload orders using material handling equipment; provide professional customer service during deliveries.
• Review order manifests to ensure accuracy of orders and daily routes.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain vehicle and customer order records and communicate delivery updates to customers.
• Provide feedback to management on escalated customer service and sales-related issues.
