Job summary

HD Supply requires a delivery driver to service a designated area, delivering orders using a company or rental vehicle. The role includes driving, loading/unloading, and resolving order issues while maintaining vehicle records and ensuring safety.

Applicants should have 2–5 years in the area, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record; MVR checks may occur. OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering orders to customers.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Clean driving record with limited accidents and moving violations.
• Wholesale distribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders safely within a service area and provide status updates.
• Load and unload orders using material handling equipment.
• Maintain delivery records and perform vehicle inspections.
• Provide exceptional customer service on order and delivery issues.
• Coordinate with the distribution center on delivery interruptions.
• Prepare vehicle and order records according to policy.
• Communicate with customers about delivery progress and issues.
