Job summary

Sysco Newport Meat Northern California, Inc. is seeking a local delivery truck driver to execute daily routes with frequent stops, unloading product at each customer site and returning the empty truck to the loading dock.

You may assist with loading, palletizing, and other tasks as directed by supervision. Drivers will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, operate in a cross-dock model, and must meet safety and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One-year route delivery experience or background driving a straight truck.
• CDL preferred; CDL Holders designated as CDL driver for Sysco and subject to DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Run routes efficiently with frequent stops and unload product at each stop.
• Assist loading trucks, palletizing products, and other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies to management.
