U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) is hiring a Driver for the Richmond, VA area. This full-time role involves safe delivery duties, vehicle safety checks, and DOT regulatory compliance, with logs and customer sign-off responsibilities.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, ability to operate warehouse equipment, and strong customer service skills, with early morning first shift beginning at 5AM. Benefits are provided for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate warehouse equipment.
• Strongly independent with ability to work unsupervised.
• Must have a valid driver's license and obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer service and driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries safely, professionally, and courteously.
• Check vehicles for safety and maintenance daily; ensure proper loading and driver logs.
• Comply with DOT regulations; complete all required company and DOT paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays during delivery runs.
• Prepare logs and obtain customer signatures; manage out-of-state mileage logs.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations.
• Inform management of route problems or delays.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
